- เป็นแมลงปอเข็มที่มีขนาดกลาง
- หน้าผากมีสันนูน ไม่มี postocular บนส่วนหัว ส่วนหัวและส่วนอกมีสีเดียวกัน
- ตัวผู้ อกมีสีเขียวมะกอกหรือเขียวแกมน้ำตาล ปีกใส ท้องสีน้ำตาลแดง
- ตัวเมีย อกสีเขียวแกมน้ำตาล ปีกใส ท้องสีน้ำตาลจาง
