 ไรน้ำนางฟ้าสิรินธร (Streptocephalus sirindhornae) เป็นชนิดแรกที่พบในประเทศไทย ตัวเต็มวัยมีขนาดความยาวลำตัวถึงหางประมาณ 1.3-3.5 เซนติเมตร ลำตัวโปร่งใสมีสีฟ้าอ่อน หางแดง ตัวผู้มีหนวดยาว 2 คู่ หนวดคู่ที่ 2 มีขนาดใหญ่และแตกแขนง ตัวเมียมีถุงไข่ 1 ถุง ลักษณะยาวเรียวและปลายถุงไข่ค่อนข้างแหลมอยู่ถัดจากขาว่ายน้ำคู่ที่ 11 ไข่กลมมีลวดลายคล้ายลูกตะกร้อ ขนาดประมาณ 100 ไมโครเมตร (โฆษิต ศรีภูธร และ ลออศรี เสนาะเมือง, 2559)
