Morphology:
Adult:
 - Patrus landaisi is most similar to P. garuda but can be distinguished by P. landaisi has the obliquely truncate elytral apices and the median lobe of aedeagus is more parallel-sided and less tapered to towards the apex, with the apex much less constricted.

Habitat: - P. landaisi was found in a shallow stream and puddles of a drying stream bed.

Distribution:
 - Chiang Rai Province: Stream close to Ban Phithak Thai, Tap Tao Subdistrict, Thoeng District.
- Chiang Rai Province: Stream close to Ban Thai Samakkhi, Tap Tao Subdistrict, Thoeng District.
