The aedeagus of P. nanensis has the narrower and more needle-like apex of the median lobe as well as by the more narrowly rounded parameres than that P. apicalis. Whereas the aedeagus of P. subapicalis is considerably different from those of two species. Females of P. nanensis can be distinguished from those of two species by the elytral glabrous region in P. nanensis is relatively narrower, occupying 9/11 of the elytral width.
