Morphology: Adult: - Patrus salvazai is most similar to P. phetchabunensis but can be distinguished by P. salvazai has the protibial constricted in basal 1/2, and the aedeagus with median lobe constricted close to mid-length, with the apex arcuate in lateral view. Females of both species can be distinguished by P. salvazai has the elytral apex weakly rounded in appearance.
