Morphology:
Adult:
 - Aphelocheirus narumonae is similar to A. brevirostris but can be distinguished by the interspaces of A. brevirostris have fewer micropunctures and are shinier than that A. narumonae. Disc of pronotum, mesoscutellum, and metanotum of A. brevirostris with large shiny areas, but in A. narumonae are chiefly matte. The left and right paramere of A. brevirostris is strongly modified than that of A. narumonae. The left paramere of A. narumonae is curved, its lateral margin weakly modified, whereas the right paramere is subtriangular, its apex narrowly rounded.

Habitat: - Aphelocheirus narumonae was found in Khao Yai National Park from Lam Ta Kong Stream, which is slightly disturbed in forested upstream site, a medium-sized stream, about 7 meters wide, with moderate to rapid current. Additionally, A. narumonae was found further downstream, just outside National Park, where the stream bed was slightly wider, with pools and side channels, but still with some riffles.
